CCF: HONOR GOD'S NAME

Hi Everyone! I would just like you to know that i will be using my blog to share God's message every Sunday. So i hope you guys can learn and be bless about it. Oh, if you guys will ask, i go to CCF st. francis.
I will create a new label/section for this: CCF CHRONICLE. So feel free to browse my page every sunday. It will be located in the right side, so you can easily access all my post about God's message. I hope this will help everyone to get closer to God.

Courtesy of CCF CHRONICLE, I will start my first blog about last week's message, HONOR GOD'S Name as it is said in the third commandment, "You shall not take the name of the LORD in vain"(Exodus 20:7). The bible says a good name is better than riches. Our name is our identification badge. It does not only speak of what we do, but it also represents who we are. But the question is, HOW IMPORTANT IS GOD'S NAME TO YOU? We break the third commandment by cursing, casual talking, broken or false vows, empty worship, "divine name-dropping, idolatry, and not walking the talk. When we consciously dishonor God we give occasion to the enemies of the LORD to blaspheme. What matters most is how our behavior reflects the name that we bear. If we really take the name of God with reverence as Christians, we must love one another, and people will know that we are truly his disciples. Even our everyday behavior - our words and actions - should be done in the name of our Lord Jesus, in an attitude of reverence, humility, and thankfulness. Give to God the honor He deserves.

To summarize it, NEVER EVER take the name of the Lord in vain for it is holy. NEVER use it in midst of trouble nor disrespect it. Honor, Respect, and Praise the LORD's name!!!

Celebrate Father's Day with CCF MAIN on Sunday, June 21,2015 in any of the following services: 9am, 12nn, 3pm. What's more wonderful than celebrating father's day with our LORD.
