The mass started as always with a praise and worship. Then CCF showed a special video for all the dearest father then with a prayer. We also had a quick review of the past messages. The message this sunday is about the 5th commandment "HONOR YOUR FATHER AND YOUR MOTHER". As it is said in Exodus 20:12  "Honour your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you." What does it mean? The bible does not say to admire, copy, or obey your parents as a command but however we are to honor them. Not all parents are good but we are still to honor them. HONOR is a decision to treat your parents with respect and courtesy. It is also a decision to provide care and seek their interest. God knows what is best is best for us because he made us. Whatever we do we are all under authority as it is said in Romans 13:1 "Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God." And If we don't honor the authority it is said in Romans 13:2 "Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves" it means we're rebelling against our own God. 

Through prayers and today's message, i learned to appreciate my parents and i learned that God sent our parents, so we should honor them. And, our parents aren't perfect, there are things that we would like to change about them but we can't only God can through prayers.
